Life Drawing

Hey Internets!

So I decided to follow my friend's idea of posting some life drawings from the extra classes that I attend each week! For those of you who might not know what life drawing entails, we draw a model who does 30 second poses then 1 minutes and then 3 or 5 or something up to 10 minute poses! It's great practice! Now remember it, because I most likely won't explain it again!

So, Life Drawings! I think this one was 30 seconds?


These next two were one minute ones I believe.



This next is a few drawings from where we watched a recording of people playing bowling and drew a whole bunch of them! It was a lot of fun!


Then after that we either did a few more one minutes or went directly into three minutes I think! And then at the end we did a few fives, but I don't know when exactly we switched drawing-wise! I'll have to remember to take note next time when we switch!

Granville Island Sketches and More!

Hello again Interneters! I have some art to share today! Some cafe drawings from within the past week or two!

These are some animator classmates of mine that I drew during class!

These people were waiting for the Skytrain.

This lady was on the train! She doesn't look very happy for some reason!




These were the first of a day where I went to a cafe on Granville Island and drew people! It was pretty fun!








I started drawing in pen for these ones.




This man had an awesome coat.




This man had a tophat and walked with such a stride! He was definately a must-draw!

Hello Internet!

I hear that having a sketchblog is the thing to do for artists these days so I am going to attempt to keep one!

I'll post a recent painting thing to start us off.
